Jorge Gros and Juan Carlos Gómez founded Software Greenhouse with the goal of developing software products that were initially intended to be marketed by their former company.
Based on several data query projects for Hispamer, the Hi-Spins product was created, Software Greenhouse’s own Business Intelligence technology. Our own sales department was established.
The commercialization of Vision Solutions High Availability solutions for the IBM Midrange AS/400 platform, currently IBM Power servers, begins. In later years, solutions for Windows/Linux platforms were added, currently under the Carbonite vendor.
A new business line focused on Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) services and solutions is launched. Business partner agreement with Schneider Electric.
Changes in company management following the departure of one of the founders. Juan José Garrido and María José Jaramillo join the executive team. The IBM i business line is expanded, strengthening system management and platform support outsourcing services. Additionally, cybersecurity solutions for IBM i are incorporated.
The organization is restructured into three areas of specialization: Services and Solutions for IBM Power, Data Center and Development, Integration and Automation. In this latter area, the commercialization of RPA solutions (Robotic Process Automation) from the vendor Fortra begins. Additionally, cybersecurity solutions for IBM i are incorporated.
Software solutions from the vendor Ekkosense are incorporated to optimize Data Center energy efficiency. Managed services in the IBM Power and Data Center areas are also strengthened.
